One thing that was on my to-do list for Summer 2017 was a road trip! You all know that I love to travel internationally. However, there are some hidden gems right in my backyard here in Pure Michigan that I have been looking forward to exploring….including the beautiful Traverse City!
I know! It’s a shame that I am a Michigan girl, born and raised, and had never been to Traverse City! I’m glad I was finally able to change that this summer, and ended up having an amazing time!! A nice, peaceful experience during our wine tasting at Bowers Harbor Vineyards. The vineyards were absolutely beautiful and relaxing.
Aren’t these photos beautiful?! Fun fact about me: I love hiking, and was really excited at the idea of hiking the Sleeping Bear dunes. 3 miles later, and many ups and downs over the hilly, sandy trail, this scene made it well worth the efforts.
