Hi Eclectic Chic family! Happy Fashion Friday! You know it’s that time of year! It’s Valentine’s Day season ❤︎ There are so many different ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Date night with that special someone. A Galentine’s day brunch with friends. A comfy day in with family and loved ones. Or a chic day spent solo, enjoying all of the self-care your heart desires. Valentine’s Day will definitely look a little different this year. However, one thing is for sure. Our fashion will be up to par for this day filled with love. Here are Eclectic Chic‘s 5 #OOTD for this year’s Valentine’s Day. Enjoy!
1. 90s Throwback-Inspired Hot Pink Strap Dress
For this romantic date night look, yes, I was channeling Cher Horowitz from Clueless. The fitted strap dress look is feminine, yet easy to move in. This bright pink pop of color brings a lot of fun to this outfit. Perfect for a Valentine’s Day candlelit dinner at home. Or romantic dancing with your significant other. Just because you may not be able to go out doesn’t mean you can’t feel and look idyllic for this special holiday.
You already know that we cannot forget our accessories. I kept the accessories simple with my round sparkle halo necklace and matching round sparkle stud earrings from Pandora. I also pinned back my bangs with rhinestone and pearl studded bobby pins for a sleek and clean look that’s finished off in a high pony. For the shoes, my whimsy floral themed pumps go along with the throwback theme. I got these for under $25 back while I was in college. I took pretty good care of them, right? It’s our secret, though. The hot pink bows color coordinates with the dress and brought the whole look together.

2. When In Doubt, Wear Red
This second look keeps in theme with our fitted dress trend. The bright red color emits passion and romance for this one-of-a-kind holiday. The wide straps with flared out fabric lightly covering the shoulders brings a unique touch to this sultry look. I paired it with matching red stilleto heels.
I love these simple, yet lively 3-tiered ascending heart earrings. Each heart displays varying colors of light pink, fuschia, and red. I didn’t do it on purpose, but my earrings are color coordinated with my Valentine’s Day sugar cookies. So good!!
3. Eclecticly Chic Teacup Dress
This look is perfect for a Galentine’s Day brunch! This beautiful teacup dress is adorned with a vivd and eclectic collection of flowers. Pink, red, and lilac flowers. I sometimes wear it with a light waist-length sweater to keep my arms warm, if need be. My shoes are a matching floral pump with a modest heel, making it versatile for many different types of (safe) events and celebrations.

4. Watercolor Floral Bell Sleeve Dress
This is one of my favorite dresses to wear when I want to be pretty for me. It has a pale nude base color, with broad yellow, orange, and pink watercolor flowers. I accessorized my outift with a matching pink heart necklace and earrings set. The bell sleeves are befitting for wide-armed, theatrical twirling. Or, if you want to enjoy your holiday doing a more laid-back activity, there’s nothing wrong with dressing in this pretty dress to eat some special Valentine’s chocolates while reading a good book or magazine. My new Essence came in the mail, so I will be cracking that open this weekend.
I have to share my excitement with you all! During my recent quick trip to the Somerset Collection, I got the best deal! Ahhh!! I got these vivacious Vala multicolored pumps from Steve Madden…and matching clutch purse…on sale for $9.99 each! You know I love a good sale! I’ve linked these fun finds in the Shop The Post below. Just because it’s Valentine’s Day, don’t be afraid to branch out from the traditional pink and red color scheme.

5. Funsie Onsies
Just because we want to be cute for Valentine’s Day, we are not going to pretend that it’s not the middle of February. You know what that means? It’s cold! Really cold, if you’re in the Midwest like me. Since I care about you all so much, I’m going to give you the best piece of winter fashion insight. Pictured above and below, you will see me in my FAVORITE winter outfit. My mom and I are in matching Victoria’s Secret onesies embellished with cute, little hearts. I got these on sale last year Buy 1 Get 1 Half Off! Yay! Not only are they super cute! They’re also really warm and comfy. Perfect for watching a good rom com Korean drama at home with a small group of friends or family.
