Hi my loves! I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I know this summer has not been like the typical summer that many of us are used to. Face masks, social distancing, and hand sanitizer (lots of it) has been added to our daily routines. Growing up in Michigan, summertime was the time of year where I would feel so incredibly happy. Not that autumn and spring aren’t wonderful, too (no, it was not an oversight that I left winter off that list). However, there’s something so special about road trips up north, visits to the lake, exploring boutiques, concerts, and food festivals that make summer so wonderful. For our safety, a lot of these activities have been restricted or placed on hold entirely. Therefore, I have been laying low and spending quiet time outside beside the pool during my free time. Although big changes have taken place, I am continuing to count my blessings, and still soak in summer outside when I can.
