This Fall has been a real treat for Eclectic Chic! I finally pursued my dream of walking in New York Fashion Week, and booked runway shows for 6 different designers from around the world. Wow! Although that experience, in itself, was amazing; the cherry on top of the cake was the fact that I was able to stay at a great hotel during my time in the city. Eclectic Chic would like to send a big thank-you to the Park Central Hotel for making sure that my stay in their Luxury King suite during NYFW was nothing short of wonderful.
The Luxury King room I stayed in was comfortable, unique and contemporary, with an “eclectic” twist….so you know I felt right at home. I loved the decor and layout of everything, including the sitting nook with space to put all 3 pieces of my black and white vintage style DVF luggage.
Eclectic Chic readers know that I prefer to explore new places and cities on foot rather than in car, which is one of the reasons why I love NYC. The Park Central Hotel is located by some great hidden gems, restaurants, shops, Broadway shows, and is walking distance from the world-renowned Times Square. PCH is also located seconds from a subway station, which made my life so much easier when going to and from my model castings and fittings. Concierge was incredibly helpful in providing me with maps and directions that helped me get to all of my events with ease.
One of my favorite aspects of the Park Central Hotel was the Central Market. Prior to getting out into the hustle and bustle of the city, I was able to go downstairs, within the comfort of the hotel, to retrieve my morning breakfast. Dressed in my bow turban, mock swing dress, and silk kimono wrap, I was greeted by a very friendly employee at the market. She was so helpful in assisting me in making the perfect selection, from the wide variety of foods and drinks that were offered by Central Market, to satisfy my taste buds. I enjoyed a fresh glazed donut, crisp red apple, and a hot cup of cinnamon spice tea with a jar of fresh honey. This was a nice relaxing breakfast paired with some catching up on my Eclectic Chic blog posts.
Pictured above is exactly what happens when you have difficulty choosing which outfits to bring for NYFW, because you would love to have the luxury to transport your whole closet! My Park Central hotel room closet was spacious enough to fit all of my favorite shoes, ensembles, totes and handbags.
This is exactly what every gal needs…a perfect full length mirror to do a final check over to make sure she is picture perfect for the evening’s events! I snapped this quick selfie before going out to Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty x PUMA and Corey Wood’s Yeroc New York Fashion Week runway shows and after parties!
Did I mention that I am obsessed with this painting? The bathroom has such a nice modern feel to it. I loved this big mirror! The lighting was absolutely excellent for doing my skincare routine and putting on some light makeup for the day. From the big square tub, to the moisturizing lotions, shampoos and conditioners, I always felt relaxed and at ease while getting ready for my day.
Natural light is so important to me, both in my home setting, and when I’m traveling. This big window in my Luxury King room not only provided a lot of natural light, but a beautiful view of these high rise buildings, and quaint rooftop garden oasis.
When I’m away from home, I try (emphasis on try) to stay consistent with my workout routine. I was relieved that the Park Central had a space where I could fit in a few good workouts, especially since I wanted to look and feel my best during my model fittings and while on the runway for fashion week. The fitness center was spacious and provided the same equipment that I am used to and comfortable with at my fitness center back home.
Thank you again to Park Central for being more than accommodating and helping to make my NYFW experience extra special! The next time you are planning a visit to NYC, be sure to contact Park Central Hotel to make your reservations: https://www.parkcentralny.com/
