Marc Jacobs Got Me Feelin’ So #Enamored!

Happy Makeup and Beauty Monday beauties!! You’re in for special treat today! As many of you know, Eclectic Chic®, LLC is a member of the Influenster community. When I found out that my next VoxBox would be straight from Marc Jacobs, I did a little dance and jumped up and down. A little extra, right? You all know how I feel about a good lip gloss, so you shouldn’t be surprised at all. Anyways, in this post, I’m reviewing Marc Jacobs’ newest Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick in 2 different colors that were sent to me. Spoiler alert…Marc Jacobs, and these new lip glosses did not disappoint. So pucker up, show me your best duck face pose, and enjoy this review Eclectic Chic fam!

I love this first Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick in the color Uh-Huh Honey. I have been looking for a neutral, brown-colored lipgloss for the longest time. It was a bit of a feat, since some browns are too dark or too light. Or even the browns that blend in with my complexion…whew! Nevermind. I don’t want a brown lip color anymore, I thought to myself. Just when I had lost hope, Marc Jacobs sent me this lipgloss which was exactly what I was looking for. Marc Jacobs got it just right with this light, golden brown hue laced with an even layer of sparkles, that glitter in the sunlight. This gloss has the right amount of tint, so that you don’t feel that you are covering up your beauty, but enhancing and embracing it. It is so hydrating and feels like pure honey is coating your lips. Dare I say, “I’m enamored”.

I am so excited to add these new products to my Marc Jacobs brand collection. The Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume is my signature scent (I get so many compliments when I wear this fragrance)! Not to mention how great the Marc Jacobs foundations are. I was introduced to their Super Charged foundation in Cocoa Medium when I first signed with Wilhelmina and began walking nonstop in runway shows. Before then, I had not worn much makeup…just a little mascara and a bit of gloss for special occasions. It was so difficult trying to find a foundation that matched my complexion. Behind the scenes during prep for the fashion shows, I would find myself in awe of the makeup artists as they unleashed their inner chemists. They would mix a dash of this and a drop of that to make the perfect shade for me. The only thing missing was a good ole centrifuge, pipette, and maybe a periodic table. Yes this beauty blogger did do very well in her Gen Chem, Biohemistry, Environmental Chem, and other science lectures and labs (hence the Chemistry minor), thank you very much…but I digress! Although I only wear foundation for runway shows, and not on a daily basis, it’s good to know that I have a high quality product to bring with me for backup when I am booked for a show or photoshoot. Eclectic Chic is definitely a fan of the Marc Jacobs brand. Side Note: Do you ever notice that whenever you apply a fresh coat of lipgloss, that will be the exact moment when your honey wants to sneak a kiss. Do not worry. This lip gloss will not leave an embarrassingly bright pink or red trace on tu amor. The light colors of the lipgloss can be easily patted away, while the #enamored trance will still linger in the air during your time together.
