#TreatYourself! My New 2019 Christmas Mercedes-Benz Coupe!

Guess what Eclectic Chic fam?? Can you guess what is peeking out at you beneath that big, radiant gold bow?!? I picked up my brand new 2019 Mercedes-Benz coupe in December 2018, and I am completely smitten. I’ve named her Bella Nova, because I felt like the name was befitting, and I am enjoying getting acquainted with her style and all of her cool features.

As a product specialist with the North American Auto Show (NAIAS), my love and understanding of cars has grown. Not only do I get to travel the country, but I also get to share information on the horsepower, torque, engine, gas mileage, what platform each is built on, and other facts with consumers who come to the auto shows. Knowing more about cars has changed the way I research and shop for cars. Checking out the Mercedes-Benz coupe before deciding this was the one for me was no exception. In this blog post, I am going to share some of my favorite features that I am loving about my new car! So sit tight, and enjoy the ride!

Vroom Vroom

The one thing that made this beauty stand out to me more than other cars is its sporty and sleek body style. It is so chic!! I chose the crisp Polar White exterior, combined with the Silk Beige leather interior and Natural Grain Grey Oak wood accents for the aesthetic appeal. It also comes with cool LED headlamps and taillamps, and illuminated door sill panels. Bella Nova is not just a pretty face, though. She offers 5 driving modes, including Comfort Mode, ECO Mode, Sport Mode, Sport+ Mode, and Individual Mode…Sport+ Mode being my favorite because it packs a nice punch! #VroomVroom! Her twin-scroll turbo engine and 4MATIC all-wheel drive creates for a powerful and smooth ride…even during the winter season that Michigan undoubtedly faces.

Although I’ve been really good this year, and have no doubt that you prepared an INCREDIBLE present to bring to my home on Christmas Eve, I wanted to save you some time. You’ve got one less house to go to. Use the extra time to indulge in a nice sugar cookie and glass of milk. I’ve got you covered this year!

This New Mercedes-Benz Coupe Belongs To Lia Jamerson

One of the things that was not at the top of my list when looking at a car, but that I really, truly love now, is that the 2019 Benz comes standard with a 10.25” central widescreen! What? Did I hear that right? No upgrade necessary? That was the cherry on top of the sundae. The screen is so big, that my neighbor thought it was my iPad! I can’t leave out the Apple Car Play and Bluetooth Connect features that I have grown to love. It syncs with my phone to display my text messages and phone calls on the screen. I can read text messages via Siri (who is a British female voice mind you), send text messages, and make phone calls without lifting my hands from the steering wheel. Safety first!

Who doesn’t love wireless charging?!? I sure do. The wireless charging dock allows me to charge my iPhone as I drive without having to fish the USB cord out of my purse or the center console! So convenient! I’m not done yet, though. The 2 smartphone-like touch pads on the steering wheel allow me to scroll and select exactly what I want on…not 1, but 2 screens?? Love it!…and then the grand finale is the MVP of this coupe! Well that may be a bit dramatic, but it REALLY. IS. NICE. 64 colors for the interior ambient LED lighting allow me to drive in the morning with purple lighting and end my day with a nice, calm light blue ambient lighting to take me on a relaxing drive home. Breathe in. Breathe out. Relax.

Welcome To The Mercedes-Benz Family

Did I mention that I am absolutely in love with my Mercedes Me Connect app on my iPhone? This gives me access to features like Remote Start, Lock and Unlock, and Vehicle Monitoring (like fuel percentage, which is helpful in letting me know when my tank is getting low, and determining whether I need to carve out extra time to stop at the gas station in the morning). I even check on my car with the Mercedes Me Connect app sometimes while I’m out of town! I shared this with you because this is a judgment-free zone thank-you very much! Haha!
