Hey there! So I know the suspense is getting to be too much for you, so I will not keep you waiting any longer. Here is the final part of today’s 3-part Mother’s Day exclusive feature. For our final stop, we’re going to the Alpaca farm at Island Alpaca! I bet you didn’t see that one coming. This was sprung on me last minute by my mom when she casually informed me that she would like to visit the alpacas after her Mother’s Day brunch at the Harbor View Hotel! Cool! It’s your day! So whatever you want, that’s what we’re going to do. We hope you enjoy our farm shenanigans.
Meet Leonardo!
Leonardo was one of the alpacas I met on the farm. He was so docile, yet very personable….and very photogenic, as you can see. Also, did you notice my ensemble? Although our trip was in May, it was still a bit crisp and chilly on the island. Therefore, I sported my newest purchase from the gift shop. This deep chocolate brown alpaca fur scarf is so incredibly soft and cozy. I’ve never felt anything quite like it. Bonus: no alpacas were harmed in the making of this scarf.
What mom wants, mom gets…especially on her day!
I’m missing these furry stud muffins. There’s something so peaceful about being in the country and on a farm. Do you all enjoy being around animals or spending time on the farm? What are your favorite farm animals?
Well, that’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed this inside scoop into my trip with my mom to Martha’s Vineyard. I had not posted in awhile, so I wanted to make this a jam-packed feature to make up for lost time. I have not taken a poll for the next few posts in some time. It’s Mental Health Awareness Month, so maybe a new Therapy Thursday topic? Or perhaps you are excited for me to do my next beauty review on a Makeup and Beauty Monday blog post? Drop your ideas in the comments below! Have a wonderful Sunday, and once again, Happy Mother’s Day!
