Happy Travel Tuesday!! Needless to say, this blog post from our mother-daughter trip to Martha’s Vineyard during Mother’s Day weekend is much overdue! This post gives you a sneak peek into our tour of the beautiful Gingerbread Houses in Oak Bluffs! Enjoy!
Pictured above is one of my favorite springtime outfits! Even though it was May, it was super chilly on the East Coast when we went to go visit. My mom found this bright green satin trench that I absolutely LOVE!!!!! Underneath, I wore white stretch pants, a black and pink floral blouse, and a warm and EXTREMELY soft, espresso brown alpaca fur scarf.

Peek-a-boo!!
My mom is fashioning a pair of tight, black skinny jeans, a loose white blouse, and a fun, sporty floral bomber jacket. This youthful, yet casual outfit is accessorized with gold, long earrings and the Inkwell black hat that she purchased in the middle of the Oak Bluffs town to keep the sun off of her face.
I wish this gingerbread house was edible so I could take a big bite out of it! However, it would be impolite to eat a person’s house. Did you know that people actually live in these houses?!? How cool would it be to come home to a brightly colored, magical gingerbread house everyday? This community was positioned within walking distance of our hotel at the Summercamp. Also, this quaint neighborhood offers guided walking tours that gives insight into the history of the gingerbread houses.
