Eclectic Chic’s Natura Bisse Skincare Feature!

Happy Monday beauties!! You all are in for a real treat for this Eclectic Chic Makeup and Beauty Monday feature. Although the summertime is one of my favorite seasons of the year (due to the sun and frequent trips to the lake), it is also the busiest time of the year for me. I have a family full of summer birthdays, which keeps me on my toes for coming up with the perfect presents to show how much my family members mean to me. This year, I wanted to treat my mom and aunt (the birthday girl and guest of honor) to a nice relaxing spa day with luxurious facials featuring the Natura Bisse skincare products. Eclectic Chic would like to send a big “thank-you” to Michael Allison, brand ambassador of Natura Bisse, for hosting a nice event for us at Nieman Marcus and making our day so special.

There is nothing like a savory fruit and cheese platter to set the stage for a day of pampering. We rotated between indulging in our hors d’oeuvres, relaxing while enjoying our Natura Bisse facials, and getting our makeup done by an experienced makeup artist, Shuston Vincent. Thank you, Michael and Natura Bisse for paying attention to the little details and making my aunt, mom and I to feel like queens for a day.

Going back to science 101, I’m sure we all remember the first time we learned that our skin was the largest organ of our bodies. This fact has stayed with me, and I find that I am incredibly mindful of taking good care of my skin…hence, Eclectic Chic’s Makeup and Beauty Monday frequent skincare and beauty product features. I tend to take my time when deciding which new products to use on my skin, and that includes the process of looking at the ingredients on the backside of the packaging. While waiting for my aunt and mom to get their facials done, I noticed that the Natura Bisse skincare line has a lot of great ingredients in their products. (Hint: You want to make sure that Water (Aqua) is at the top of the list under ingredients in your skincare and hair care products to make sure that it favors hydration…Natura Bisse has us covered with this too).

Michael was so warm and welcoming. He was not only extremely knowledgeable of various products in the Natura Bisse skincare line, he also made it very easy for me to relax and enjoy this moment of self-care.

Spoiler Alert: There was an incredible body alignment that was incorporated into the experience after the facial. Ahhhh so relaxing! I nearly fell asleep, and my mom definitely fell asleep. Did you hear her snoring in the video? Mission accomplished Michael in getting myself, my mom and my aunt to feel void of any tension or stress afterwards! We’ve already scheduled our next session with him.

After each of us received our pampering facials, we were escorted to an area within Nieman Marcus where we had our makeup done by Shuston Vincent. One of my biggest frustrations is when I bring a picture or verbally describe how I want my makeup or hair to look, and then it comes out looking completely different. Shuston was so friendly and down-to-earth. My mom, aunt and I are different women and desired different makeup looks. My aunt wanted a neautral look with subtle pops of pink. My mom expressed how she would like a sultry smokey eye. I told Shuston how I wanted highlights of gold on my cheeks and pops of turquoise to line my eyelids. Shuston listened to each of our individual requests, and delivered accordingly. We could not have been happier! Thank you Shuston!!

I absolutely love The Cure All-In-One Cleanser: Restorative Cleansing Cream from The Cure Collection. For all of us ladies, and gents, who have dealt with the woes that come with having dry skin, finding a good face and neck cleanser can often feel like the straw that broke the camel’s back. This cleanser has a smooth, milky consistency. It has a light, subtle fragrant and feels like silk when I smooth it on my face and neck area. I’ve combined this cleanser with my Clarasonic Mia 2 during my morning and nighttime routine, and I absolutely love it! It cleans away the dirt and oil without leaving my skin feeling tight or dry.
