Happy Fashion Friday Eclectic Chic family! It is a very happy Friday for me indeed. As I am writing this blog post right now, I am sitting outside in the beautiful sunshine state, finishing a delicious shrimp, watermelon and tomato salad with a honey basil vinaigrette dressing…mouthwatering, right? I am wrapping up my third auto show season with my requested show of Fort Lauderdale. It has definitely been a wonderful #workcation filled with poolside sunbathing, water taxis, aerial silk yoga, savory mahi mahi and shrimp tacos….and yes, some work is in there, too.
Rewind to last week on Saturday, I was not yet in Florida and was still in Michigan. Over the weekend, I attended Ted Baker’s grand opening event at the Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan. How exciting!!! Having our own Ted Baker store at the Somerset Collection is way overdue. Ted Baker is one of my favorite fashion brands. It depicts the perfect blend of traditional feminine silhouettes and modern fashions and colors. From ensembles that I have worn to New York Fashion Week runway shows and weddings alike; to chic tote bags that can be dressed up or down, my closet contains some of my favorite unique Ted Baker fashions.
Anyways, back to the grand opening. The theme was #TedsGotSoul, because of the infamous Motown era that Michigan is known for. When I walked into the store, I was met by a fun dj, good music, a nice posh environment, chocolate bars and colas for refreshments, and of course, an abundance of new arrivals to be explored and doted on!
Pictured above are one of the new outfits I bought at Ted Baker last weekend. This Gilanno Magnificent Body-Con dress exhibits big, bold fuchsia and pale pink roses on a fitted dress that goes beyond the knee line. Perfect for the business environment, cocktail events, and special occasions. You all know how much I love versatile designs that I can wear more than once in different settings. Pictured below are the other new goodies I purchased from our new Ted Baker store. Ok, so I went a little overboard, but I love these new additions I added to my closet. In later blog posts, I will further highlight my new Ted Baker Houdini dress, pale blue bikini and cover up, and matching floral pumps, cardigan and purse. I can’t wait to share my new Ted Baker fashions with you all. Stay tuned!
