Firm ● Energize ○ Defend ● Lift
I was so excited to share this post that I could not wait until tomorrow for Makeup and Beauty Monday! Eclectic Chic®, LLC is a part of the Influenster community…which is why I am so thrilled to receive our third VoxBox from Erno Laszlo New York. This little goodie bag contained a generous 6.8 fl. oz. of Erno Laszlo’s newest product, Firmarine Lift Essence Lotion. I have been using this product for the past month, and cannot wait another second to share with you my honest review. I hope you enjoy!
So let’s start with my first impressions. When I initially saw this product, I was so impressed by the beautiful, rectangular outer packaging and dispenser. Side note: I absolutely LOVE pump dispensers. It makes it so simple and effortless to incorporate a product with a pump dispenser into your skincare routine. Not to mention that this essence glowed a calming bright blue hue from my vanity, alongside the rest of my favorite beauty care products also placed on my vanity. Great! So far, so good. Let’s see if this product is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside!
Upon further research, I found that this product contains key ingredients, including:
- Spirulina Maxima: a blue-green algae that helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Aloe Vera: a soothing component to help relieve dry, stressed skin.
- Energizing Oxygen Complex: helps to boost collagen production.
Firmarine Lift Essence Lotion is also shown to help with lifting and firming the skin to reveal younger, healthier looking skin. Although fine lines and wrinkles are not at the top of my priorities for my skin care routine, I love products that help to refresh, restore and heal dry skin. When I tried this product, I applied it morning and night after cleansing my face and neck. The scent had a nice peppermint fragrance; and the lightweight gel consistency left my skin feeling cool and tingly. I noticed that my face emitted a nice glow and looked healthy and moisturized. Yay! The second day I used this product, I noticed that I broke out a little bit (not horribly bad, but slightly noticeable) on my cheeks. My skin liked the product and glowed after my first use, but was irritated after using it again the second day. I took about a week off, before trying the product again, and I saw good results. My advice to anyone with sensitive skin like me is to space out the use of this product. Instead of using it on a daily basis, perhaps using it once a week.
